Service Description

This package includes 3 exercise classes/week that can be joined in person or via online. They include a strengthening course (light weights, functional training), a mobility class (stretching, yoga, balance), and an outdoor class (meet for walks, hikes, outdoor stretching- occasionally replaced with a guest speaker or other wellness provider option). These courses are geared towards the middle-aged and older population, but I offer modifications for any age or ability. During these sessions I will give one-on-one advise to avoid injury or improve performance. You will also have access to my monthly talk on injury prevention that can be viewed at your convenience. These will focus on common injuries and how to avoid them. You will have access to online journaling for both your exercise and food intake. You have the option of me checking in on you weekly to help hold you accountable and offer some suggestions if desired. We will have a 60 minute movement screen initially to help determine areas that may need extra help and/or ideas to modify while in class, as well as set some goals. We can check in on progress of your goals as often as you'd like. You'll have the opportunity to give input of topics or exercises to focus on with the weekly classes as well. This package is perfect for the person that needs a little more accountability in their life to stay true to their goals. On top of all of this, you will also receive a 25% discount to any of Medicine by Movement's other services while you are a member. For the Monthly Wellness Group Membership Plan we ask for a 3-month commitment in order for you to truly see the benefits and changes that come with working on your wellness. After 3 months, you may cancel at any time, and/or place your membership on hold. Location is 311 Price Street
